Marketing communications statistics


We conducted an audit of more than 30 sites in various areas and found out what communication tools brands use, why and how they do it. We share with you fresh statistics, trends and insights that will help you upgrade your business and increase revenue.


What tools do companies use to communicate with website visitors?

68% of shoppers are more likely to buy from a brand that offers a convenient way to communicate. But do all brands offer them and follow trends?


We found out that:

  • 17 out of 30 companies use online chat to communicate with customers;
  • 3 of those 17 launched a chatbot on the site;
  • other companies offer customers to contact by phone or e-mail.
  • How is lead information collected?
  • Leads with their information about visited landings, geolocation, purchase history, etc. are the key elements for sales.


We found out that:

  • 80% of the companies in our survey (24 out of 30) use demo forms;
  • 14 companies collect information about site visitors through a subscription form;
  • 10 companies use chat on the site;
  • 6 chose pop-ups for this;
  • 2 use a chatbot on the site.

Scale SaaS business to the regions

Another metric we analyzed is the number of registered users and purchases by region. Since our platform is focused not only on Moscow and the Moscow region, we, of course, were interested in how popular our platform is in the regions.


It can be seen that the distribution is very uneven, Moscow and the Moscow Region prevail. To fix this, we decided to run marketing campaigns that increase purchase conversions and personalize them for the top 20 regions by number of new users. And within this case, we also plan to use CD(X)P.
